Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) is an international university located in Vilnius and Kaunas, (Lithuania), and the leading higher education institution in social sciences and interdisciplinary research. Approximately 7,500 students are enrolled, including 600 international students, 200 doctoral students and over 400 academic staff employed. The main faculties and institutes of the University are: Mykolas Romeris Law School, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Public Governance, Public Security Academy as well as the Institute of Communication, Institute of Educational Sciences and Social Work, Institute of Humanities and the Institute of Psychology. The university offers more than 80 doctoral, master and bachelor degree study programmes, internationally accredited status and more than 20 programmes are offered in English language, with a unique, diverse environment for international students. MRU is the first University in Lithuania to offer international joint study programmes that lead to double or joint diplomas.
